To be considered for this promotion, listeners must register via our website 979laraza.com. There is a questionaire that must be filled out. SBS will review all entries, and on or around April 3rd, 2026, one lucky winner will be chosen as a winner for this promotion at SBS’ discretion. Entries will be reviewed periodically and SBS may contact contest participant to share their story. Winner accepts tax responsibility. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Registrations will be accepted until March 28th, 2026 at 12am.

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and must be the parent or legal guardian of a child who has turned 15 by December 2026. This promotion celebrates the cultural tradition of the Quinceañera, which honors a girl’s 15th birthday. The child for whom the party is intended should identify as a girl and wish to celebrate with a Quinceañera-style event.
Contestants must visit our website 979laraza.com and fill out the brief questionnaire for their entry.
The winning family must submit a final guest list at least 14 days before the event (max 150 people).
The winner and guests may be featured in on-air or online promotional content.
SBS may remove disruptive guests at its discretion.
- ONE grand prize winner will win a quincenera party that includes: a hall for 6 hours: hall includes: tables & chairs, table center pieces, food for no more than 150 people, sodas, ice, (1) choreographer for event, (1) day of event coordinator, (1) cake, (1) photographer for event, (1) DJ for the event, live entertainment for up to 2 hours for the event (at discretion of KLAX) wait staff and hall cleaning, transportation via limo for event. Winner will also win a dress valued at $4,000 USD (alternations not included). Hair and makeup for the girl will also be included. ALCOHOL IS NOT INCLUDED. A bartender will be at the event to serve any alcohol that the family wishes to bring for guests 21+ with valid ID. Security at event will also be present. Outfits for “chambelanes” (if applicable) will be responsibility of the winner.
The event date will be determined by KLAX-FM and is subject to change due to vendor availability or unforeseen circumstances. SBS will make every effort to accommodate scheduling, but a specific date is not guaranteed. Winner will have to choose from pre-selected dates in the month of May. Winner must be available on pre-selected dates. If winner is not available for those dates, no cash prize or service credit will be given and prize will be forfeited. In this event, SBS reserves the right to select a runner-up.
Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device (e.g., Ticketmaster, PayPal, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address.
